Aisar Jalil (b. Camaguey, Cuba, 1953). He graduated of a MFA from the Repin St. Petersburg State Academy (St. Petersburg, 1983). He also studied at the Professional School of Art (Camaguey) and the National School of Art (Havana). He has widely exhibited his work nationally and internationally at solo and group shows such as, 12th Havana Biennial, “Antes que anochezca” (Angel Orensanz Foundation, New York), “Onírica” (Galería Collage Habana, Havana), among others. His works are part of institutional collections such as Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Museum, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Havana), as well as of private collections in Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, the U.S., United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, Canada, Ukraine, Argentine, Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Mongolia, among other countries.
